Trappers app released

April 1, 2017

For our business partner NFP we developed the dedicated Trappers app to register bicycle travel behaviour. Trappers works for employees and employers as part of the Trappers programme to reward use of bicycle in commuting.

Spitsfietsen launched

September 1, 2016

We started the bicycle stimulation project Spitsfietsen in the Dutch city region Zwolle - Kampen. In this project cyclists are rewarded when they take the bicycle in their commuter trips during rush hour. In the project we work together with our partners Goudappel Coffeng and Campagne. The project is part of the Dutch mobility management program Beter Benutten and financially supported by the Dutch province of Overijssel.

We bussen launched

July 27, 2016

In the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant the initiative We bussen has been launched. We bussen stimulates car users to experience the bus as travel alternative during congestion hours. Mobidot has developed the We bussen App and manages the technical service. We bussen is an initiative of the province of Noord-Brabant and the PT-operators Arriva and Hermes in collaboration with the Dutch ministry of infrastructure and environment.

Mobidot presents herself to IMMA commissioners

Mobidot presented herself together with her partners on the IMMA show & tell business market IMMA. IMMA is a Dutch qualification for government funded demand-side mobility management projects in the Netherlands. We are very pleased with the publicity for our innovative solutions and services.

Mobidot successfully qualified with her partners for IMMA. IMMA is a Dutch qualification for government funded demand-side mobility management projects in the Netherlands. IMMA is one of the ITS themes of the ministry of transport.

Dutch Fietstelweek (bicycle count week) exceeds all expectations

The first Dutch bicycle count week (Nationale Fietstelweek) has exceeded all expectations: we tracked bicycle behaviour of over 55000 people.

Third year kick-off of a scientific study assessing the quality of mobility tracking via the Smartphone.

For the third consecutive year we started a two wave, three week data assessment study under 300 respondents to assess data acquisition quality of smartphone-based mobility sensing. The project is executed in close collaboration with the University of Twente and CentERdata.


Launch of the Sesamo App for panel-based mobility monitoring

Mobidot co-initiator of the first Dutch national Fietstelweek

November 20, 2014

Bicycling is a healthy and sustainable mode of transport. Together with the Dutch cycling association, Keypoint consultancy, Beaumont communication and NHTV university of applied science, Mobidot has taken the initiative to organise a large scale monitoring study of Dutch cycling behaviour. Mobidot will provide the 'measurement' App and the data analysing infrastructure for this project. De bicycle count week will be organised in the week of 15 until September 22 2015.

Routes App launch

Supported by the Dutch province of Gelderland Mobidot in collaboration withMoop Mobility has released Routes to the App store. Routes is a smart travel assistance App and daily personal travel logbook. The App is for free.

Mobidot award winner 'Anders op Weg'

April 15, 2014

Mobidot has been elected as winner of an innovation contest to reduce traffic bottlenecks in the Dutch Utrecht area. The winning concept, called Greenowl, is proposed by a consortium consisting of Mobidot, Fourcelabs and Plan to Behaviour. Greenowl is a mobility game App that challenges people to travel CO2 neutral on the basis of their actual travel behaviour. Greenowl targets employers and their employees. Greenowl will be further developed in the near future. Greenowl is supported by Economic Board Utrecht, the province of Utrecht and U15, which represents 15 large employers in the Utrecht region.

SMART app launched in Enschede

Better accessibility of the city and the region. And not only by large investments in asphalt. On the initiative of the municipality of Enschede an innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solution is launched to influence travel behaviour in a positive way: the SMART app.
